Amaunator was a god that was thought to be dead, but it was later revealed that he had actually become Lathander. Amaunator is a god of order, the sun, time, and law. The church of Lathander in Waterdeep, known as The Spires of Morning, is transitioning over to worship of Amaunator. This transition seems to have been spurred on by Father Sunbright and a traveling cleric called Father Andrew Morn. [1]
